On The 11th Day of Christmas, Mr Robot Hacks Asked… Where Is My Mind?

Mr Robot, The Leftovers, Fight Club and Sucker Punch have all asked Where Is My Mind?

The Pixies song becoming a new anthem for doomed youth.

So, do you want the good news or the bad news?

The good news is that we’ve found the best Mr Robot fan edit out there.

It’s a phenomenal piece of work from MinimalistVideos and The Garo Studios…

The bad news is… the video is so good, it can only go downhill from here! 🙂

As well as featuring key moments from both seasons, the video is a masterclass in editing to music and definitely, 100% without a shadow of a doubt, the best Mr Robot fan video we’ve seen. Do you agree?

A big thank you to Minimalist – obviously a professional editor – for bringing some joy to the world! We hope you’re very successful.

This version of Where Is My Mind is by Yoav & Emily Browning and featured in the Zack Snyder film Sucker Punch which was about a bunch of kick-ass girls breaking out of an asylum.

Where Is My Mind was, of course, originally a Pixies song – Mr Robot used french composer Maxence Cyrin’s piano version with Sam Esmail explaining to fans he deliberately included the song in homage to the show’s biggest influence, Fight Club.

Incidentally, the other best show on TV in recent years, The Leftovers (which you should definitely check out) also used the same instru-mental version to highlight Kevin Garvey’s many mental problems, and incredibly did it even better than Mr Robot!

Max’s piano version is the perfect rainy Sunday song and makes a great antidote to yesterday’s video post which focused on Elliot’s mental health!

Merci beaucoup. See you tomorrow!
